Excellence in Learning and Development Recognized at Brandon Hall Awards 2025

By September 1, 2025

According to data from Gallup, employee disengagement in the United States already costs companies close to $2 trillion annually. Analysts emphasize that performance systems must be tied to leadership and culture to unlock the full benefits of employee engagement. In this context, the Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management (HCM) Excellence Awards® 2025, known as the “Academy Awards of Human Capital Management,” once again highlighted those organizations that have made talent development the cornerstone of their success.

One of the companies that stood out this year was Ness Digital Engineering, which secured four honors—two Silver and two Bronze—for its programs in leadership and employee learning. The jury recognized the firm’s initiatives for their business alignment, program design and delivery, innovative approach, and measurable impact.

For Ness, these recognitions are the result of a sustained commitment to learning and development. Ranjit Tinaikar, CEO of Ness Digital Engineering, explained that the company’s strategy goes beyond technical training to focus on holistic growth. “Talent is the cornerstone of our success, and we are deeply invested in their learning and development. Through our programs, we focus on building impactful, business-aligned learning experiences that provide our people with the skills, tools, and leadership capabilities to drive innovation and deliver excellence for our clients,” he said. Tinaikar added that the award validates a long-term philosophy: “This Brandon Hall recognition underscores our belief that empowering people through continuous learning and leadership development is the key to sustainable growth.”

The company, which operates across innovation hubs in the United States, Eastern Europe and India, has placed talent at the center of its business model. Shivadarshan Deshamudre, AVP & Global Head of Learning and Development at Ness, stressed how the programs have transformed internal dynamics. “Our programs have accelerated internal mobility, reduced external hiring costs, and cultivated future-ready leaders across the organization. This recognition belongs to our passionate learners and the supervisors who champion their growth every day—their commitment is the true driver of our success.”

For more than three decades, the Brandon Hall Group has celebrated organizations that achieve measurable results through innovative approaches to human capital. This year, its Chief Operating Officer, Rachel Cooke, emphasized that the winners embody the transformative power of talent strategies and engagement models that not only achieve strong business outcomes but also redefine what it means to create people-centered workplaces.

For Ness, the recognition adds to a track record of consistency. In 2024, the company had already secured five Brandon Hall Awards and in 2025 it was also recognized with the BEST Award from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). These results underscore how an approach rooted in continuous learning and leadership development can strengthen both talent pipelines and client delivery.

At a time when companies worldwide are rethinking how to motivate employees and align culture with business objectives, Ness offers a concrete example of how cultivating leadership and fostering a culture of learning can generate sustainable growth. By connecting engagement with measurable impact, the company demonstrates that the future of digital transformation is not only technological but also profoundly human.
