The goal of the conference is to promote Panama as a hub for technological innovation and to bring the country the most recent technological developments and trends, as well as new business and foreign investment opportunities. The event will host five free sessions aimed at university students, professors, and professionals about the role of technology in shaping the Panamanian economy. The sessions will cover the following topics: e-commerce, corporate governance, architecture, customer experience, and intelligent mobility.
Additionally, there will be a keynote address given by best-selling author and speaker, Scott Berkun, who has been featured by The New York Times, Washington Post, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and The Economist. His speech will discuss the findings of his most recent book, The Myths of Innovation, which covers some of the false ideas regarding innovation, as well as the lessons to be learned from them.
The event will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge developments in the IT and communication sectors, as well as the opportunity to network with local and international experts in the field. Last year, the event gathered more than 1,200 eager participants to learn more about technology and the opportunities it presents in Panama.
